Kenneth Avery-Clark - Director and Co-Founder
Kenneth is an accomplished West End actor, writer, director and producer, as well as a co-founder and the Principal of The ICMT.
He has most recently appeared in the role of the Preacher in the European Premiere of Violet at the Charing Cross Theatre, London. He directed the West End Broadway Revival version of Godspell, which also toured the UK.
West End acting credits include The Producers, Ragtime, Sweet Charity, The Drowsy Chaperone and 125th Street.
He has shared the stage with Nathan Lane, Lee Evans, Liza Minnelli, Elton John, Olivia Newton-John, Elaine Paige and others. He has performed for British Royalty on two occasions and for the prestigious Chichester Festival in the critically acclaimed production of The Music Man in 2014. He has multiple North American credits both as a performer and a director. He is dedicated to helping young performers reach their full potential and realise their dreams.

Christie Miller | Co-Founder & Head of The ICMT New York
Christie is a co-founder of the ICMT. She is also an award-winning actor who has appeared in productions such as Annie, Run for your Wife, Noises Off, Shirley Valentine, Educating Rita, A Christmas Carol, Philadelphia Story and The Mousetrap.
Christie has over thirty years of experience in performance and has produced and directed shows that have played and toured in both the UK and North America. She was the Assistant Director on the West End Broadway Revival version of Godspell: In Concert, as well as the UK Tour.
Christie is currently the Head of The ICMT in New York.

Grant Martin | Head of Musical Theatre (Belfast/London)
Grant graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Music, Commercial Composition and Technology. Musical Director on the UK/Hong Kong tour of Avenue Q, he also toured with Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Previous shows include We Will Rock You; Rent; Into The Woods; The Drowsy Chaperone; Copacabana; Spring Awakening; Little Shop of Horrors; La Cage Aux Folles; Putting It Together and more, along with prominent pantomimes including The Grove Theatre and the Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds.
Grant spent several years as Musical Director for Royal Caribbean International, arranging for the orchestras and leading the music programme. He continues to work in that industry via Live Business Entertainment as Musical Supervisor and Arranger.
Grant joins The ICMT from The Urdang Academy, London. He has previously taught at several other academies, including Mountview, Bodywork Company Dance Studio, ArtsEd London and East 15, and can also be found working as a jazz pianist, whilst maintaining his passion for composing and performing original material.

Onelia Soldini | Head of Musical Theatre (Rome) & Head of Singing
Onelia Soldini has been teaching voice and singing lessons for more than fifteen years.
She trained as a singer at Siena Jazz (Accademia Nazionale Jazz) and studied musical theatre with Faye Nepon, Stephen Woodbury and Anne-Marie Speed. She also trained as an operatic singer and actress. She has been performing for more than twenty five years.
Since graduating she has worked not only as a singer and singing teacher, but also a voice coach, actress, vocalist and theatre director.
She is an Estill Master Trainer and trained under Elisa Turlà in Rome and Anne-Marie Speed in London.
Onelia is the Head of Musical Theatre at The ICMT Rome.

Emma trained at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Upon graduating she understudied and played the role of Karen in Speed-the-Plow at the London Old Vic with Kevin Spacey and Jeff Goldblum.

Nik Parks | Deputy Head of Musical Theatre (Belfast)
Nik trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Dr. Veronica Dunne.
Credits include Dead Man Walking (Irish Premier), Little Women The Musical (Irish Premier), The International Magic Tenors (European Tour), The New Jersey Boys (Mallorca), Rock of Ages (Mallorca), Peter Corry’s Moulin Rouge (World Premier), Red Velvet Cabaret, The Sound of Musicals & The Music Box and, most recently, Celtic Nights: Spirit of Freedom (US and Canadian Tour & Olympia Theatre, Dublin).
Nik’s roles while training in London included Tevye in Fiddler On The Roof, Othello in Othello, Julian Marsh in 42nd Street and Fabrizio in The Light In The Piazza.
Nik has performed extensively in some of Ireland’s most beautiful theatres including Dublin’s National Concert Hall with Festival Productions, Belfast Opera House with St. Agnes’ and the Gaiety Theatre with Opera Ireland (Dead Man Walking Irish Premier).
Nik’s roles in Ireland include Valjean in Les Misérables SE, Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (Winner Best Male Singer AIMS 2007 and Best Supporting Man WIFLO 2007), Freddie in Chess, Jekyll/Hyde in Jekyll & Hyde (Best Male Singer Nominee AIMS 2010 and Winner Best Male Singer and Best Male Performer WIFLO 2010) and Laurie in Little Women the Musical (Irish Premier.) Most recently in Ireland, Nik played Che in Evita, Phantom in a concert production of The Phantom Of The Opera for the 50th Anniversary of Players Theatre at the Guild Hall in Derry and directed a production of Sweeney Todd in The Lyric Theatre, Belfast.
In 2007 Nik was featured in the BBC TV series Any Dream Will Do – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for Joseph where he reached the final 20 out of over 10,000 contestants.
Nik is trained in both Opera and Musical Theatre, but his mixture of teaching methods and can help build vocal abilities, techniques and tonalities for most genres of singing including Rock, Pop, Swing, Musical Theatre and Opera. Nik is passionate about acting through song and believes the key to unlocking ones vocal potential lies in having confidence in oneself- whether that is as a professional singer or as someone taking up a new hobby.

Magnus Gilljam | Ensemble & Musical Director
Magnus is a versatile musician and performs regularly as an accompanist in recitals around the UK and Europe. He works as a session pianist, repertoire and vocal coach and has also appeared on radio, TV and film.
During 2014-15 Magnus was touring the UK and internationally as musical director for the play The Events by Scottish playwright David Greig, working with over one hundred local community choirs taking part in the production.
Other musical direction credits include The Producers (Chichester Uni – Alexandra Theatre), Bernarda Alba (GSA – Electric Theatre), State Fair (Trafalgar Studios), The Full Monty (New Players Theatre), Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Theatro Technis) and a family adaption of Rossini’s La Cenerentola for EPOC (Unicorn Theatre).
During his studies Magnus was awarded the Royal Swedish Academy’s Accompanist Award for three consecutive years, the GSMD Schubert Lieder Prize for accompanists and the Titanic Memorial Award for accompaniment of English Song.

Lisa has since been director and dramaturg for a number of years and has most recently helped create a trilogy of feminist pieces, the third of which will be transferring to The Soho Playhouse Theatre, New York. She has directed many genres including Shakespeare, Musical theatre, comedy and horror, including ‘The Darklings’ with Theatre company ‘The House Macabre’ which won The After Dark Award at The Vaults Festival, London 2019.

Luke trained as an Actor-Musician at Rose Bruford College before embarking on a ten year career as a professional actor, working in the West End, nationally and around the world.
Luke then moved across to directing for the stage. Jake Allison is an American ballet dancer, choreographer, teacher, and repeteur. Jake danced professionally with First State Ballet Theatre in the US, performing principal roles such as Albrecht in Giselle and Prince Désiré in The Sleeping Beauty.
Jake is also the Artistic Director of High Points Youth Ballet, Northern Ireland’s premiere youth ballet company, where in 2019 he staged a full-length production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker that featured international guest artists, ICMT students, and HPYB students.

Michael Kostroff | Auditions Masterclass
Michael Kostroff is an established stage and television actor best known for his five seasons on HBO’s legendary hit series The Wire and his numerous guest star appearances, most recently on The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Damages, Louie and Gotham and The Black Box. Michael toured the U.S. in The Producers, understudying the lead role of Max Bialystock (a role he’s since played throughout the country), and in Les Misérables as the conniving and villainous Thénardier.
Michael is the author of the popular book Letters from Backstage; a former advice columnist for the actors’ newspaper Backstage, and the creator of the Audition Psych. 101 Workshop, which he has presented all over the country to thousands of actors, addressing the mental side of the audition process.

Jeff Pew is a New York based actor originally from San Jose, CA. He most recently appeared in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as the Wall Street Bull and opened a new Broadway musical entitled The Bandstand in April 2017. He has also been in Cinderella on Broadway and the national tour of Billy Elliot.
As well as being a singer and actor, Jeff is also an accomplished pianist and plays company class regularly for American Ballet Theatre and Mark Morris Dance Group.

Melania Maggiore is a Musical Theatre performer, singer and violinist. She has trained with the International College of Musical Theatre and has a Master’s Degree both in Opera and Violin, with honours, at the Conservatory of Milan and Rome. Sarah Wingo | Dance
Sarah Wingo is a dancer, choreographer and dance educator based in Brooklyn, NY.
After extensive ballet training under the tutelage of Karen Gibbons-Brown and Jeremy Blanton, Sarah went on to pursue a BFA in Contemporary Ballet from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
Sarah has toured nationally and internationally with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Cats and for The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary Tour. Commercially, Sarah can be seen in ads for Kohl’s and Fila alongside celebrity trainer Shaun T, as well as Rockport Shoes, WeTV, and Cold EEZE.
Sarah appeared in episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel dancing for renowned choreographer Marguerite Derricks. Most recently Sarah’s voice can be heard in Pillsbury commercials (with a slight Southern accent). Sarah is a regular faculty member at Fort Wayne Ballet’s Summer Intensive.

Elisabetta Ventura | Dance
From the very beginning, Elisabetta Ventura was surrounded by film, dance and television, learning to crawl in Italy’s Rai studios where her father, Toni Ventura, choreographed the most important Saturday night variety shows for almost 50 years.
As a Tap Dancer, Actress and Performer, Elisabetta’s career has followed a unique path full of diverse experiences. While attending the Experimental Triennial in Performing Arts and Sciences (2001-2005), she discovered her love for theatre and acting, and attended the workshops of Commedia dell’Arte under Carlo Boso, Claudia Contin, Ferruccio Merisi, Claudio de Maglio and those of Jean Paul Denizon, assistant to the great Peter Brook.
In 2007, after her stage work with Tato Russo (La Tempesta, I Menecmi and Il Paese degli Idioti) and Carriglio (Adorabile Rosalina), she joined C.I.A.P.A. under Gisella Burinato, winning the Girulà Best Young Actress Prize 2008/’09.
Elisabetta’s first break came in 2012 when she got the role of the Fan Girl in Paolo Sorrentino’s La Grande Bellezza. She also featured in the official movie trailer followed by numerous roles in music videos, commercials and short films including working for the estimable Franco Piavoli in Frammenti, which was featured “fuori concorso” at the Rome Film Festival.
In 2011 Elisabetta got a role in the play Moon Face directed by Carlo Emilio Lerici, followed by a role in Tchajcovsky directed by Harris Freedman in 2013. In 2014 she was featured as a tap dancer alongside Massimo Ranieri in Sogno and Son Desto 2, broadcasted on Rai Uno.
In 2015, after obtaining a scholarship in the Advanced Tap Program under Guillem Alonso at the Escola de Musica y Dansa Luthier, Elisabetta moved to Barcelona, where she also learned Spanish.
Back in Rome she worked with Paolo Sorrentino again in The Killer in Red (2017) and Loro 2 (2018); in March 2017 she worked as a dancer and also as an assistant choreographer in Giorgio Forte’s musical New York, New York which made its debut at the Harbin Opera Theatre (China).
Her latest theatrical roles include: Caligula, directed by Aurelio Gatti for the Teatri di Pietra, Pirandello’s Sogno Ma Forse No and Metamorfosys (Fringe Festival 2017), both directed by Vittoria Faro.
In 2018 Elisabetta starred in Peggio Per Me, directed by Riccardo Camilli (Independent Distribution) and was also cast in the short film Rhapsody in Blue, written and directed by Maria Carolina Salomè. In 2018 Elisabetta attended tap workshops with Leo Manzari, Dante Lara, Charles Renato, Michelle Dorance & Melinda Sullivan.
In 2019 Elisabetta was hired by Paolo Sorrentino again to dance in the theme song for The New Pope (WILDSIDE).
She has just shot one episode as a guest star in the TV series Don Matteo directed by Cosimo Alemà (LUX VIDE) which is going to air in 2020 on Rai Uno.
Elisabetta is a body movement coach for actors; she has also taught at Gisella Burinato’s C.I.A.P.A.
She currently teaches tap at I.A.L.S. and AMTA in Rome. She recently organized the Roma Tap Jam with Monia Schietroma, a popular dance event that started three years ago at the Cotton Club and that has moved at the Lo Spazio Theatre, which combines tap dancing, lindy hoppers and live music.

Danilo Modardi | Dance
Danilo started his training in Rome, where he won a scholarship for dancers and performers. He followed this by moving to New York City, winning another scholarship at Steps on Broadway.
Danilo first entered the industry as a dancer, then later as a performer too, working for shows such as: A Chorus Line; Hello Dolly; Seven brides for seven brothers; An American in Paris; Notre Dame de Paris; Dracula; Tosca, and many others.
He now also works for TV shows, movies, and commercials.
As a choreographer, he has put on shows for Dubai Shopping Festival; Sharjah Book Fair; Rainbow Theme Park; Circus of Horror; Aladdin and Pippi Longstocking (as Project Leader).
As a dance teacher, he works for many Performing Arts Schools in Rome and throughout Italy, among which are Molinari Art Center and ICMT Rome.

Alexandra Avrami | Dance
Alexandra Avrami lived and worked in New York City as a ballet dancer, ballet teacher and personal trainer to several celebrities and models at Ballet Beautiful by Mary Helen Bowers. Before she started her trip to America, Alexandra graduated with a bachelor degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences from the Aristotle University.
Later she obtained her degree of Classical Ballet Teacher from the Royal Academy of Dance in London and the American Ballet Theatre, NYC, and her Pilates certification from Equinox, NYC. As a professional dancer, she studied in New York’s Joffrey Ballet School (2011) and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Ballet School of American Ballet Theater, NYC claiming these positions from hundreds of young dancers from every corner of the earth.
Alexandra has performed in many global ballets at famous theatres, such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York with the American Ballet Theater, David Koch Theater at Lincoln center (NYC), with the Mikhailovsky Ballet USA Tour, the International Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space (NYC), Florence Gould Hall (NYC), Metropolitan Playhouse (NYC), Theater 80 St Marks (NYC), Miller Theatre at Columbia University (NYC), Frank Sinatra School of the Arts (NYC), Josie Robertson Plaza Lincoln Center for the Table of Silence project (NYC) and more.
As a ballet teacher, Alexandra has taught in several amateur and professional dance schools in New York City like JKO and Rita Gold Teachers College Columbia University, as well as in Rome. She has participated in various shows and commercials such as New York Live (NBC), Good Morning America (ABC) and recently she took part in the series Vinyl (HBO) with Martin Scorsese. She has also featured in several magazines, including Women’s Health, Shape magazine and People magazine.

Ryan Greer | Singing
He has also enjoyed working with the creative production company ‘Dumbworld’ on a number of their productions, including multi-media project Rain Falling Up which took place throughout spring 2018. As one of three choral workshop facilitators he prepared ten schools across Belfast for a performance in the Ulster Hall accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra.
Ryan has worked with the Flax Trust Arts programme in North Belfast creating musical projects within the local community. This included directing the ‘Flax Vocal Ensemble,’ a young group of gifted vocalists, and facilitating workshops for the annual Flax Trust Inter-Community School’s Choir Awards (FISCA). Within this programme, primary schools from varied backgrounds collaborate to perform in a special choral competition every December at Belfast City Hall.
As well as being a musical director, Ryan enjoys working as an accompanist, which has led him to work with many singers including Peter Corry on concert tours such as The Call Of The Celts which toured the Netherlands in March- April 2018.
Since February 2017 he has been a member of The Björn Identity, Ireland’s most authentic touring ABBA tribute band, in which he regularly performs as Benny Andersson.
Ryan has been part of the staff at ICMT Belfast since January 2019, teaching music theory, accompanying the students in classes and directing ensemble singing.

Tommy is an actor from County Fermanagh in N.I. and trained at Drama Centre London.

Maeve Smyth | Acting
Maeve Smyth is a Portstewart actor, who trained at East 15 Acting School just outside of London. Maeve has worked extensively in theatre in N.I, including playing the role of The Colleen Bawn in The Lyric Theatre/Bruiser production of ‘The Colleen Bawn’, the role of Lady Macbeth in ‘Macbeth’ at The Grand Opera House, and most recently the role of Eily in Marita Conlon-McKenna’s ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’ at The MAC, which will tour Ireland in early 2020.
Maeve has worked on many short films over the past few years, including ‘Monkeys in the Garden’ which got through to the prestigious Galway Film Fleadh – she has also worked on a BFI short earlier this year.
Maeve also does voiceover for radio and has been the voice of four audiobooks this year.
